I wasn’t able to be there tonight. But I spoke at halftime with somebody at the game and they told me that the place was SO juiced and ready to go. All they needed was for us to get the lead and then the crowd would do the rest. I laughed in response but inside wanted, hoped that was true. Boy…. I guess that was quite accurate, indeed.First year of ever having season tickets but man you can just feel the anticipation and intensity in the air and the players respond. Standing the whole game. Kansas was not a sellout (60,446).

I think that is the biggest feeling many of our fans need to shake. Last night it sure felt like failing to capitalize on the incredible defense early was going to cost the game. That sure was not the case. That's great to hear! It used to be a feeling of doom like we were all waiting for the other shoe to drop.
One bad play and the energy would evaporate
