Ou had a 20 point lead on freaking Creighton, and coughed it up, they had a 20 point lead on Texas and managed to pull it out of their ***.

If anyone follows Big 12 hoops, they can see OU and ISU are very similar, they can build a big lead and they can blow a big lead.

Well, that Creighton game was the second game of the season, no? There was no reason given how OU has played and how ISU has played, that a comeback like that was going to happen. Especially when our first possession after half time was a turnover.

Pattern was there.. You can choose to ignore it, but doesn't change the fact teams have come back from big deficits on these guys.

The team looked lost in the 1st half. And were playing defense like they've tended to play this year...like a team that's not coached to get after teams on defense. I'm not saying Hoiberg doesn't think it's important, but it certainly doesn't seem to resonate with the players consistently.

Then they started getting after OU and the result was some of the best ball of the season.

It seems like when they REALLY get after teams on D, the offense feeds off of it much more than the other way around.

Not sure what happened, but I hope Hoiberg's halftime speech somehow involved a cigar.

Must have made good adjustments.

You were melting down two minutes into the game in the game chat.

Yes, because I said multiple times this morning that starting our seniors would take us out of our game.

Still, has nothing to do with me celebrating the win. And I think everyone in the game chat was melting down by halftime, I just started the meltdown party a little early because I saw what was coming.

I'd bet 95% of Cyclone Nation chalked this up as a loss with 15 to go in the game.

Also, that's twice I've been banned from the chat because of that ********* troll.

I think he did lose em for the last two games and the first 1/2 tonight. Probably his greatest coaching moment to date to reel them back in tonight and get that W.

Had he lost them when the team had 8 point leads with 8 min to play in each of those games?

I love it when people post this crap to try to shame everyone else. I'm willing to bet you thought the game was over too and just didn't post it.

Nope. I didn't post anything, but I never thought the game was over. Good try though.

Does it make people feel better to tell everyone the game/season is over? I never got the point of posting stuff like that while the game is still on.

Pretty sure you're lying, but this is a pretty stupid thing to debate.

To be fair it probably is more about one of their better scorers allegedly sleeping with teammates' wives and girlfriends.

True on that respect, but it just seems now, when things start going south for a team, the first thing everyone wants to attack is how a coach has lost the team or the locker room. It gets annoying. It's the same thing we heard about Rhoads all this last year. "He's lost the team." It seems pretty basic to me, when a team is losing regularly, the locker room isn't the most pleasant place to hang out. Doesn't mean it's lost.

We've had plenty of close games this year, but no one wants to look at those and say, "Boy, we really stole one there." When we win, we compare this team to Duke, KU and UK. When we lose, all of a sudden the walls are caving in , our coach isn't any good and he's lost the players." Just look at last night's game. How do you think OU fans feel right now? Blowing the game like they did last night, makes the KSU game look a little better.
