Hinterland 2022 Speculation Thread

I just saw that Turnpike Troubadours announced a festival set in Chicago on August 4th. Hinterland is the 5th-7th. I'm putting my money on them headlining Saturday the 6th (the alt country day). The same Chicago festival has Mike & The Moonpies and Flatland Cavalry booked for the 7th, so I'd bank on them also being at Hinterland for Saturday.

Anyone hearing anything about the Hinterland line up?

Turnpike alone would be a hearty "hell yes" from me, but Mike & The Moonpies are #1 on my "bands I need to see" list, and I really enjoy Flatland too.

He's never played Wooly's? That's hard to imagine. I could totally see him at Hinterland as well.

Lineup drops at 11 today. Can't wait to see who they were able to sign up, recognizing they will be hard-pressed to match last year's lineup.

Can’t wait! One of the most exciting weekends of the year and look forward to this like crazy. We were able to get a pool into our spot in gold camping last year so we shall see what happens this year.

I'd always rather see artists in smaller venues, but why not Hinterland? The venue is a gorgeous spot for concert goers and artists alike.

It's a freaking solid lineup. Most excited about Sunday, but Friday - Sunday are all great.

Lotta names I'm not familiar with. I've been leaning into more heavier music lately but still love this fest. Last year was incredibly overcrowded, but was a solid lineup. Looking forward to hearing some new artists.

I'm normally up for all 3 days, but I may just be Saturday this year. There's an artist or two I'd like to see the other days, but I'm not sure enough so to pull a trigger on an all-day pass. I'd be happy with just Saturday.

Jenny Lewis... There's an artist I would have never expected to enjoy but very much do. She's underrated.
