The athletic department hasn't done anything non-traditional with the floor before, I fully expect a very low key design but would be pumped if there was a state of Iowa outline/shape involved with the half court logo or something similar.
There are so many cool things that they can do with stains and paint. Doesn't have to be Oregon or TCU level (God forbid), but there are a lot of ways to make it look really, really nice.

sui was buying n new floor every year. The bright side is the guy that used to sell them was an ISU fan.

Honestly I liked their "blacktop" court much better

If it ain’t broke….

Except the floor is broke (warped, to be specific).

Now, if you're referring to the court design, I generally agree with that, and would only want to see minor changes if any at all: like, as was mentioned, the state of Iowa stained into center court, logos, etc. I don't want a TCU or Oregon monstrosity.

current floor looks great- just wish the Pioneer logo was located in the red and in front of the scorers table and off of the floor. They paid for that- I get it.

Would love new tables that are actually all the same LED style and we can move past those 1996 tables at the ends of the court.

Less is more. Clean simple look with only 2 colors, not multiple shades of colors, stains etc. Basketball Cy at mid court would be fire.

Hopefully they are smart enough to put "Hilton Coliseum" where it can actually be seen on the floor this time.

It seems they don't have the space to store, cute and store again. It's been said they think they could make more money, just don't have the space to keep it for a large period of time.

We are a major state university. There is plenty of space. Just throw it in some of the storage semis that are often parked in the Towers lots.

Testifying
I think I paid either $200 or $250 at an equipment auction for a ISU helmet.
I feel like a 4x8 piece of Hilton flooring could easily sell for that much and that finding 335 people to pay that wouldn't be that difficult.

It's the storing and logistics that's the problem.

Maybe they will mark the spot on the court where Jay Bowe famously forgot his shoes or where Randy was trampled and broke his leg.
Did Georges drip any blood on the floor from the Kansas game? Or was that a previous floor?

Jamie is stubborn, but hope he is smarter than that.
The guy responsible for that **** is gone.

I'm hoping this floor extends to the student section and maybe put some graphics Dien that fill the gap. Cyclone Alley sponsored by Perfect Games...
