Meh: I get that the interior screens are for those folks in the first rows who don't have a good angle of the main jumbotron, but they just look like Black Friday big screens mounted there. Wish they would have spanned the width a bit more.

Want to see: are the new corner boards above the tunnels operational yet?

Everything's operational.

Lovely surprise: the color matched sponsor logos. So much better looking in red & white than if they used the company's colors for each one.

My second one #127 shows just the left side of one of them - look right side, lower center.

That's just part of the ribbon board, I was wondering about the new screens put in to replace these old corner scoreboards.

It is pretty common that they are quite a bit smaller. Actually, the larger they are, the less useful they are. If they get too big the top half of them get masked for more people by the bottom of the main board on the near side.

So for those that saw them for the 1st time in person yesterday what did you think of the new video & ribbon boards?

Much better. Was worried about losing a permanent scoreboard but they kept the corner ribbons up the whole time I saw. I also like having the stats and score in the corners better as sometimes it was hard to see on the other end with the video board in the way.

It seemed "lower" than the old one but its VERY crisp.

I wouldn't mind the videos shrinking just a little to increase the font size of the player data.

Ribbon boards look great.

They took the 3pt counter and the Cy racing the flag runner off the ribbons...what's left is pretty meh.

We sit lower level for WBB and upper level for MBB. The little screens underneath that are only visible to the lower level are pretty handy when the big screen goes to one big picture, because you can still see players & stats. I like the fact that points & fouls are now joined by stats for assists & rebounds for the players currently on the court, but for some reason the columns are in a different order between the big screen and the small screens. Also, we sit on the team side for both MBB & WBB so the cameras are on the opposite from us. Consequently, the action on the screen is backwards from the action on the court, and the big screen is SO big it can actually distract you from watching the court when you're in the upper level.

The corner screens are no longer directly over the tunnels. They are in the corners still, but have been moved up higher and are larger, with more info on them.

Overall impression - some good stuff, some bad depending on where you sit...but mostly good.

I was at the WBB game, and I noticed some of the stats on the corner board were wrong. Like TO and Assists had the number switched but the Rebounds and FG % were correct.

The little screens in the middle at the WBB game had scores screwed up also...and it looked like they acted independently of the player numbers on the big screen at times. They may have some software bugs to work through.

I couldn't see the little screens at the MBB game, so I don't know if there were issues there as well.

Not gonna lie, I like the old scoreboards better above the tunnels. Just personal preference. Everything looked great from what I saw.

I was wondering about that. I know they say at the Jerry Dome in Arlington, TX that a lot of the people in the Upper Decks watch the gigantic board more than they do the play on the Field.
