Here is my writeup on Baylor's 247 site on the game this weekend.

Can you lend us some speed at WR? Seriously, those guys are ridiculous.

Seemed like a pretty fair assessment. The only think I didn't realize is that Arceo hasn't missed a field goal under 50 yards. I wouldn't be surprised if this is true but he has missed two PATs this season.

Sadly Arceo has missed 3. 1 at Iowa, 1 against Texas Tech, and 1 at TCU. I'm pretty surprised that he hasn't missed a field goal within 50 though.

Wow it is pretty sad that I forgot about one of them or even that we have missed more than 1 in a season.

Not paying, but interesting write up. I guess our hope is that we've played some really good defenses and that Baylor's D will cure our illness.

While 247 is a paysite the board is free to sign up and post on. There will be the occasional topic behind a paywall but 90% of it is free and open for discussion. We'd love to have you guys come chat about the game.

I expect our DBs to cover well, give some shots, and strip the ball from Baylor's receivers. They can severely limit good receivers. Look for Reeves to have a Pick 6 in this game. He has been close all season.

Did I read that right? You said that Barnett has the better arm for the deep ball?

I remember Jantz having his passes hang (UConn 2011 especially) and I saw Barnett hit the deep ball against TCU well. Honestly it's one of the areas I had the least on in the writeup.

Barnett has hit more receivers deep (because they were so wide open), but I think Jantz has the better arm.

Hate to say it because you are a good poster Sammy, but I see your Bears getting blown out.

I agree with you. Long heaves into the netherland were not productive for SJ. How many bombs has he connected on; I do not remember much.

I think our offense will do enough to at minimum prevent that. I have a lot of respect for your D but I feel our scheme will break cover 3, our WR's match up too well vs your corners for man to man to work well, and then if you go quarters and empty the box like last year I feel our line is good enough to run it consistently like 2011's game.

I think we'll win but I can easily see it break for either side and I won't be surprised with either side winning by 2 scores. I think it will be BU but time will tell. Either way good luck to both squads after this weekend.
