I am looking into buying an HD Camcorder under $400. I have done some research, but would like CF's opinion. The most recent thread about HD Camcorders was 2 years ago, so most cameras have evolved by then.

The footage is for work and all video will be imported into Final Cut Pro X.

Thoughts?

I have an HD Sony Bloggie. It was way cheap and it shoots good video with decent sound. I really like it because you can take HD pictures as you are filming.

I've had decent success with this one here.

But seriously, do you need good sound or zoom? If not, might as well get a GoPro Hero 2 camera. That way, when you're not using it for work, you can also take it on any vacations you might have. Like Colorado or something.
