No... most people have twitter set to public, so anyone can read what they say. Facebook defaults to the opposite

For facebook you really need to put in a little bit more effort to stalk someone you don't know

Twitter can't have credibility, because it's no more than a medium.

It's a pretty fantastic tool to break actual news too.

Credibility can only be associated to the person using the account.
