Congratulations! But don't listen to these clowns...even some doctors take nearly that long to get done with school. You're in a pretty elite class, IMO.

Gosh, if I knew who you were in real life, I'd buy you a beer in celebration and reminisce about the good ol' "party too much" days (still have my $20 bill trick "brand" on the ol' forearm). Yeah, that'd be great...oh well...don't know you, and you're probably moving far far away.

Seems like we may have met a time or two. Nope couldn't be! :jimlad:

Good job by you! I am happy to say I will never take another class unless it is job related. Just happy to have gotten it done, my younger brother got his masters from Western Ill. 3 years ago, I have not been able to live it down that he got 6 years done before I got a degree. I am content with the BA.

I'm not saying I'm never going to go to college again - if I'm thinking about totally changing job disciplines I may just have to, or I may want to go after a doctorate eventually if I want to teach college post-retirement (which is many, many, many moons away). But after going to school for 25 straight years (includes K-12 and various levels of college), I am ready for a LONG, LONG BREAK!

Hey - I started a couple years late - but graduated when I was 28 with the undergrad. At 42, got an MBA - after saying I'd NEVER take another college course. We're not too far apart. Congrats - I know how hard it was. You've still got plenty of time to make your mark.

Congrats! I can relate. It took me 12 years from first class to degree but I did have a six year overseas military break. When I graduated, I started my Masters right away (since I was already in the night school mind set). Something to think about.

Great job regardless!

Congratulations. I followed the same path as an undergrad. Looking back it was my own bullheadedness that held me back. Do something nice for yourself you deserve it.
