Got me curious

Did anyone listen to the Marty and Miller show Tuesday evening just after 6 p.m.? I did, and they were going to interview the Hawkeye Nation guy and mentioned Cyclone Fanatic -- and not in a good light.

They basically called everyone on here "cockroaches". I decided to visit this site to see what kind of "cockroaches" these guys were refering to. After a couple of days of looking at threads on here -- including in the In-state Rivals section, I have concluded ISU fans who post on here are no different than those who post on Hawkeye Nation, Panther Nation or whatever nation you want.

So my question is, why are Marty and Miller constantly putting down ISU? I heard their interview yesterday from some guy who said McDermont is a midlevel recruiter at best -- with M & M agreeing with him, but then I heard Marty and Miller talk earlier about UNI's Jacobsen going to Minnesota should Tubby leave and that would be "right in Jacobsen's wheelhouse."

I realize this is long for a first time poster, but just want to know some answers.

I too listened to them yesterday after attending the State Basketball Tournament and came away completely unimpressed. As far the show goes they are amatuer hacks at best. They talk over each other constantly which is very difficult to listen to. As for their Cyclone comments, the kids Coach Mac has recruited aren't as bad as it may seem, Mike Taylor is in the NBA, Wesly Johnson was a good player and he did recruit the potential 2009-2010 Big 12 Player of the year in Brackins.

If I lived in Des Moines I don't think I would ever turn KXNO on between 4 and 7!! Hacks.

I was on my way to the movies and I was trying to catch some updates on the boys' state tournament that day and knew kxno would be about the only place to find out.

Again, I have never been to this site until M & M brought it up, so that's why I decided to look back at some of the posts to see if this was as bad as they said.

It didn't rile me up. I was just perplexed as to why they would want to alienate a lot of their listening audience like that.

At least they led me to this site.

When ISU starts winning they will be the first ones on the bandwagon. Just ask UNI BB, Drake BB, and Iowa FB about it. Ask Drake about them now. I just hope JP has the balls to stick his middle finger up at them when they want something when thigs get going good in Ames.

Really? The hawkeye nation guy called us cockroaches?

I wonder if his boss thinks the same thing? Being that he spends more time on here drumming up content for his shows, than he probably does on his own site.

Welcome to the world or M&M. Lob out an insult or two, make a rash statement based on no reasonable premise, get angry phones calls so the lines are busy, pawn it off a day or two later that they were "misunderstood" or it was only "an opinion".

Somehow they consider that quality programming.

He actually said that? I'll give Marty credit there - that takes a pair. That guy has done more backpedaling than most NFL secondaries. Not that I expect anything coherent to come out of his yapper. But I have to wonder what possible justification he has for that? Just because we don't stand for his horse-**** assertations, theories or tripe?
