Gmac vs Morgan

Gmac and Morgan had an argument on the floor of the ISU/UNI game, when Gmac was still at UNI. That was the incident that made me respect McDermott, he went on to have a successful season and a higher paying job. My question, where is the Greg McDermott that met Wayne Morgan face to face during a heated game? The not ever getting a technical foul thing has been overplayed. But pure passion can not be hidden.

Really? That was one of the incidents that may me puke when we hired mcdermott. Somebody doesn't gain respect in my book by yelling at an opposing players and throwing around a bunch of f-bombs. Given the fact that it was the only time we saw Morgan go off on the sideline I'd say mcdermott said some pretty inflammatory things to him and the team, not exactly the way to garner respect.

Pure passion can not be hidden. I have no idea what was said that day. Pure passion can not be hidden. I see none. (passion)

Good points. When McDermott was hired, I immediately thought of the shouting match between him and Morgan. That kind of crap from McDermott sure didn't gain any of my respect.

To take your question a step further, can impure passion be unhidden, if someone is dispassionate?

Wait, why would the passion first be hidden if it's impure? Is the assumption that the person was, in fact, at one time passionate? And if so, what occurred that made his passion impure?

Oh please. Let's not be desperately reaching for ways to praise GM. Maybe you like guests coming in to your house and swearing at you. But while we are at it, I think the very best thing I like about GM is that his shoes are always polished

Mac has had technical fouls called against him while at ISU. For those who think you have to get technicals to show passion, watch Bill Fennelly sometime. I haven't seen him get a T in a long time and he always shows passion. Mac not getting Ts is not the problem.

Did you notice he had to tell Gilstrap where to be on the court a couple of times? It was like Strap was unsure of the play. One time we had two players standing in the same spot to take a shot. Maybe the system is too complicated.

Didn't wes johnson semi allude to this in the WSJ interview/article?
