He is absolutely 150% correct in that statement. Money is what drives the NCAA and to claim anything else is just crazy. It has been said a million times but this doesn't happen if we are talking about North Carolina, Duke, etc, etc.

I called them on Tuesday, right after my show, to see if one of the coaches could come on my show Wednesday. They said someone would be available while they were in the airport, and I didn't know who it was going to be until I called the number I was given to call, and Coach Mac answered.

So he could have passed that off to an assistant and it would have been just fine, because I was expecting to speak with an assistant. I was very appreciative that Mac came on with me.

The reason I asked Jon, is I thought perhaps you conducted an impromptu interview as a result of the announcement earlier today about Lucca.

I guess I was surprised (and happy) that he told it like it is.
