Talk about a guy completely out of place. Kyle Wiltjer makes Georges look like Dwyane Wade.

Georges just doing what Georges does.

But some other player that can jump an inch higher will probably be drafted ahead of him.

This has been fun to watch. Georges is playing exactly like we've seen and still dominating on offense (also has given up some points on the other end). Amazing that a guy like Skal Labassiere, who clearly is an inferior player to Niang, will be drafted in the top 10.

His defense and rebounding are what hurt him. Every big man playing in that game is better than him in those areas. He is BY FAR the best offensive player out there though. Its a joke how easily he scores.

They are in league with Gary Busey's teeth.

Someone is going to have to figure out they can't use him like a traditional big man. The team that does will get a hell of a player.

Whoever is coaching Niang's team should be fired. Niang sat for a lot of the second half. He comes in and first possession, he drives and dishes for a dunk.

It was about as good of a showing as Niang could have asked for. He was active, didn't turn the ball over, passed it well, made some threes and scored. His team was always looking to him when they were in trouble. He struggled a little defensively, but this was an ugly game. I don't expect him to launch up any draft boards, but he might have grabbed some attention.

Diallo probably received the biggest boost in this game. He looked far more competent than Self gave him credit for. I also liked Barber from NC State.

...

There aren't really any media breaks and the players are playing more extended minutes. Niang was getting the majority of minutes already and deserved the rest in rotation.

Not sure how much more attention he can grab. He's been known long enough where people know what you're getting with him. At some point you've got to look past "upside" and grab a guy who can flat out ball, the ladder is Georges.

I'm assuming pretty much every single NBA team has a scout watching this scrimmage, right? Gotta love it!

Should have passed it to Georges in the corner for the tying three.

Was thinking the same thing...too bad he gave up the offensive rebound on the other end. I know it was one of those perfect bounces for Carter but that seemed to happen a lot to Georges often

One thing that this game helped him showcase is his grasp of pick n roll offense. He was the only player on that court that knew how to execute that play. That is the bread and butter of NBA offenses.
