Is coming up. And it makes me sad.

I've been going to games for close to 35 years, and have seen some great players. I don't think I would ever be able to name a favorite player. But, wow, have I enjoyed watching Georges over the past 4 years. Non only a great player, but a great ambassador for ISU while he has been here. I fully expect him to be as active as he can be as an Alum as well.

Good luck in whatever comes next for you Georges! And thank you for all the memories!

It's weird when the career of a 4 year guy that had such an impact comes to an end, especially in today's "one and done" era of college basketball. Georges play on the court is obviously a big deal, but his personality off the court and his ambassadorship for our University has been awesome.

Here's to turning this thing around and sending him out on a high note.

Let's start with a win at the phog. How awesome would that be?

How about finishing with a new Big 12 single game scoring record? Just turn him loose!

Even better. Set the Big 12 single game scoring record on Senior Night at Hilton . . . then break it at Phog Allen!

Pretty amazing that he will leave ISU as the player to win more games in the Cardinal and Gold than anyone before him.

Anytime you think this program is in a bad place, think about it a couple of years before he got here....

To me he's been the embodiment of the program resurrection under Hoiberg and now Prohm. Crazy to see how far it's come in his four year career. He was the perfect guy at the perfect time, and is definitely my favorite cyclone of all time.

I'm going to miss that kid a lot next year.

As eric heft said, no one had probably combined ability and personality like Georges has. He's truly one of a kind and the best.

Game Monday starts at 6. Get there early in order to honor all of the seniors. Parking lot will likely be busy so allow a lot of time. Leave work early if you can!

I was sad for Ejim's last game and know I will get a tear during Georges senior introduction.

He has done so much for ISU and the basketball program, hard to put in to words. Thanks for all the memories!

It's really weird to think about playing without Georges next year. So many big shots, so many big moments, so many great quotes. His competitiveness and ability has me hopeful that this team still has a run in it.

I've seen a lot of Cyclone basketball. It has been so easy to take his 19+ points for granted. All that being said, he's made me laugh a lot. That's what I'll remember the most.

e.g., after a lackluster win following a big win ... "Can we talk about Friday night some more?" Or his comment that prompted the eye-roll followed by, "Nice Georges."

Here's hoping for one more really good quote before the season ends.
