Baylor closed us out 22-6 (iirc).

KSt did the same thing. 22-9 to finish the game. It was 60-48 at the ten minute mark, after Houge's three. Then turnovers, bad shots, and shaky defense. Just like Baylor. This is what worries me for what's left of this season.

1. Need to get Houge fixed. Something is wrong, he's either hurt or having a personal issue. He just isn't himself. He will be fine though, too good a player to slump much longer.

2. Need to have Morris handle the ball, there is zero reason to have George bringing the ball up.

3. Need to find George more rest, which means nAder and jones can't go mia.

4. We are asking George to do things he can't do at times

5. Can't have Matt and George on the floor at the same time, limits us defensively to much.

6. Naz needs more shots.

I think we will be fine, Freddy is good and will figure it out. Just cant have 4 guys not show up like tonight though. This wouldn't be so bad if the exact same thing didn't just happen. Freddy is really good at looking at himself in the mirror though and will get the fixed.

Good time to have a fast turnaround at home.
Good analysis. Don't think Fred can trust bdj imo.

Hoiball has never been concerned with quick shots, because there's always time for more. Presumably, if you miss some quick ones the penalty just isn't that high because you are getting more possessions, it should even out some.

Except at the end of games.

For whatever reason, ISU isn't all that efficient grinding out the shot clock and getting good looks like they need to in order to win close games at the end. They really look uncomfortable when they need to do that.

This was awful. Just awful. So many clenched cheeks on our side. When you can't be confident in what you're doing you end up with just exactly what you were afraid of. Even still, without that absolutely horrendous inbounds pass, we probably win. We still had a chance after that but neither Montee or Georges wanted any part of that last possession.
On a happy note, I was so ****** off I cleaned my bathroom and fixed my drain.
Don't think I can watch Monday. I don't think it will go well at this point.

I might be doing what I did for the NFL this season and DVR almost everything, look up the score, and then watch knowing what I'm going to see. I didn't have much of a choice because I worked most Sundays during football season, but life was a hell of a lot more relaxing.

When did Iowa State completely forget how to inbound the ball? Horrendous against any kind of full court pressure, of course. But also, seems like we used to run good out of bounds plays; now we just stand around and lob the ball to half court or throw to a guy posting up at the 3 pt line. Was happening all game.

Kansas State is not an NCAA tournament team.

That doesn't mean they arent better than a 13 or 14 seed. Texas will probably miss the tournament, but they would be in the Dance if they were in the Big Ten. I have no doubt about that. KSU is better than their record indicates. Life in the Big 12......

I fully agree. George is a great player, but the minute he starts to get tired he becomes a liability. We need a player that can take up the slack when George is on the bench.

We have to get Georges a Snickers bar.

I know we threw it away and not blaming refs. We lost game. Did you see how many steps the kstate player took after his dribble. I count 4. Did I look at it wrong? Was it a travel or do they not call it on the way up to basket? Just wanted insight. Did he travel?

Wesley stalked that like a cat. Frankly, I don't think Georges ever saw him. And it certainly was not a travel. Steal, dribble, one, two, thump!

Its obvious. Count the steps after dribble. Hoiberg even said it was an obvious travel with too many steps. How can you not see that in slow motion?? Serious?
