So book readers, what plot lines are left in the books that's not in the show? Arya and Davos? It seems like everything else the show has passed already.

Once the show is past, I'm gonna read non-stop spoilers. **** reading 5,000 pages of describing what they ate for dinner.

You should wait one more week to ask this...otherwise you'll be spoiled for this season's finale.

not many. Mereen is caught up with the books. Kings Landing has a little yet. So does the North. But not so much that it couldn't all be in the next episode. After that, it's all uncharted territory.

The book Wall and Dorne stuff will probably be in the final episode.

The Riverlands stuff and Greyjoy stuff were cut for this season, however the latter will be in Season 6 and the other may or may not be in it.

I hope so. Victarion Greyjoy is one of my favorite characters in the books, just from a straight bad-*** standpoint. Done right, he could be a great addition to the show.

Some of my favorites seem to be getting short shrift on the show. Davos, Doran Martell, Wyman Manderly. And Stannis is completely ruined.

Don't know about Vic. The casting call was for “an infamous pirate who has terrorized seas all around the world" and has a "touch of madness". Sounds like Euron to me.

Holy **** I called it over a month ago. I did NOT expect Stannis to sacrifice himself and whatever shred of decency he had left just for a crown. Poor shareen. Anyone else get the feeling Jon Snow better keep one eye open when he goes to bed?

This is the point we can look back to and say, "That's when Stannis lost the war." Just like when Reek sided with his jack *** father over the Starks who cared about him. That's when Theon screwed the pooch.

I can't believe Stannis' army stood by him for that.

His army is supposed to be made up of fanatical devotees to the Red God. They burned anyone who disagreed back in Dragonstone. Of course, in the show, he has sell swords. So, maybe some would have dispersed after seeing him burn his own daughter at the stake.

The books are amazing. Martin is one of the few writers who I actually enjoy reading his food descriptions!

I am thinking that Sansa may either escape and find Stannis, or when Stannis gets there she becomes a very important chip for him to play. He could broker a marriage deal with the Vale or another House for the seat of Warden of the North/Lord of Winterfell. Of course, no way of knowing as it is so far from the books.
