Another thing I wonder is where are all of the Northern armies that fought with Rob Stark and will they align with Stannis to purge the North of the Boltons. However it works out it's going to be painful for both sides and if I were a betting man, I'd put my gold on the Boltons holding on somehow. I hope I'm wrong.

Is Rickon still alive? I forget what happened to him. I know he split off from Bran in season 3. Is that the last time we've seen him?

"Bran instructed Osha to bring Rickon to Last Hearth, the seat of House Umber, whose lord Greatjon Umber was a loyal bannerman of the Starks."

They separated before Bran went north of the wall in order to keep Rickon safe. Osha didn't want to go back north of the wall either. He's hiding out and will likely be 6 feet tall before we see him again.

The wildling girl (I can't remember her name) took Rickon off to hide on an island near the wall I thought.

I thought she took him to hide in with Jojen Reed's father. I can't remember the Dad's name but my book reading friends tell me he's kind of a big deal.

A lot of them were slaughtered after the Red Wedding when the Boltons among them betrayed everyone and caught them with their guard down.

There are still houses, with bannermen loyal to the Starks though. When Stannis tried to recruit the Mormonts to his cause they responded with "Bear Island knows no king but the King in the North, whose name is STARK."

There are likely other loyal houses who are biding their time under Bolton's boot waiting for their chance to rally behind a new Stark leader. Stannis tried to get Jon to be that leader but maybe it will happen with Bran's return.

Howland Reed. He's never appeared in the books, but he's referenced enough and was in enough important places at important times, that many people think he knows things that will advance the plot. He was at the Harrenhal tournament, and knew Lyanna Stark. He is also the only living person, who fought at the Tower of Joy where Lyanna died. If R+L=J is true, Howland is possibly the only person in a position to confirm it.

Oh ****. Didn't think of that. Would be interesting if Jon Snow ends up there and Howland lets him know the full story.

They actually went to Last Hearth to be with The Umbers, not The Neck to be with The Reeds.

The best episode will be when they finally kill Ramsay.

I was hoping that Theon was going to help poor Sansa out and take out Ramsay. That poor girl.

I can see this happening in both the books and the TV series, and both will be very satisfying moments.
