I have no idea if it’s true that a player’s mom is sort of involved.

But it does make you wonder if a player and/or his parents were trying this to avoid getting caught.

Nope. I live in predominantly Hawk territory and I refuse to ever believe this. I do think it can be situational depending on the year, i.e. are we competing for the conference championship, but 9 years out of 10, I'd say Iowa is in the top 3 of important games

Strong post. What, exactly, is DCI’s interest in message board posts? Also, please quote one example of a post that meets the legal standard for defamation in Iowa.

I think we are talking apples and oranges.

We have 9 conferences games. To go 6-3 means there is wiggle room on losing to any 1 team.

Each season the Iowa game is all or nothing. That one game doesn't define our season (we saw that last year), but it is significant for recruiting, fan base confidence and an early season measuring stick.

Being .500 against Iowa is important based on where the Big10 is viewed in the pecking order of conferences. We need to show we can compete against Big 10 or for that matter SEC teams when given the opportunity. One never knows where realignment will take us over the next decade.

Is that's what's going on? Its confusing to me that the title of the case is the state of Iowa vs her, which would indicate she is the defendant, but her role is listed as an interested party.
