Per ISU Email.

All fans are required to enter MidAmerican Energy Field at Jack Trice Stadium using a mobile ticket. The easiest way to access your mobile tickets is via the free ISU Cyclones App. You can also access your tickets online using Account Manager.

If you haven't logged into your account recently you may need to reset your password. Simply follow the prompts on the screen to reset the password and verify your contact information.

ISU Athletics has implemented Ticketmaster's SafeTix for all events. With SafeTix, your phone is your ticket! It is designed to provide the best possible entry experience and cut down on fraudulent tickets. When using SafeTix, printouts and screenshots will not be accepted at entry.

These tickets are powered by a new and unique barcode that automatically refreshes every 15 seconds so it cannot be stolen or copied, keeping your tickets safe and secure. Also, Apple Wallet and Google Wallet tickets will not have a barcode- you will simply tap your phone on the scanning device at the stadium entrance.

So if you and you spouse share tickets but enter the stadium at a different time how does that work?

The "live" tickets are such a f*cking sham. They sell it as protecting the customer but it's really all about keeping the secondary market ticket sales in Ticketmasters hands.

Far be it from me to defend Ticketmaster, a company I would drop a nuclear bomb on in a heartbeat if given the opportunity, but none of this prevents you from selling your ticket on your own and simply transferring it directly to another person (thus bypassing the Ticketmaster secondary market), does it?

So she will need her own ticketmaster/Cyclone ticket account correct?

I wouldn't think so. Just put the ISU app on both phones, logged in to the same account. Download one ticket to the wallet of one phone, and the other ticket to the wallet of the other phone.

I'm even wondering if her phone would need to connect to ISU at all, if the ticket could just be transferred from wallet to wallet. Haven't tested that so don't take my word for it.

No, I transfer my tickets to family all the time. And if I plan to sell tickets, you can post them on Stubhub and transfer them via email when sold.

I have had trouble in the past transferring tickets while at JTS since cell service sucks. Sometimes it has been easier to take a screenshot and send via text. Guess no more.

Yeah, that sounds right. In order to access in ticketmaster to get it to your apple wallet you need that account.

Not completely but they 1.) have to have a ticket master account and 2.) it makes it much harder to sell tickets outside of the Ticketmaster resell platform.

You will only be able to sell/transfer with another ticketmaster account because they are "live tickets". Yes, prior to live tickets it was easy to transfer/list tickets on other sites but the live ticket won't allow that.
