Soph year out at Towers, we had a pretty rough night. I had to help my room get into his hanging loft. Woke up the next morning and he was gone. A couple other guys and I spent a couple hours looking for him. Close to 12:00 he comes back in, wearing nothing but his boxers. In the middle of the night he woke up, went to the bathroom and went back to bed. Only problem, is he was 2 floors above us and somehow climbed in a loft that didn't have a ladder.

My Soph year I lived in Old RCA 5th floor Welch (the attic). Welch has technically 4 floors, but there was a stairwell that goes up to 3 awesome rooms on the 5th floor. Half the population doesnt know the floor exists, much less how to get there. But I woke up to find my roommates ex high school girlfriend sleeping in her underwear (with no blanket) on my couch, the window wide open, screen on the floor and her new boyfriend sitting on the roof of Old RCA smoking pot. A) I'd never met these 2 people before in my life, and havent seen them since, B) my roommates new girlfriend (whose now his wife) was awake in bed with my roommate laughing and completely cool with it, and C) just....just....WTF man!!

Not weird, but kind of funny...Once during a trip to Geneva, Switzerland, I had a room above a bar/restaurant. The local ordinance says no noise before 8 a.m. At precisely 8 a.m., every morning, there was the dainty "crash, tinkle, tinkle" of empty bottles underneath my window, as the joint prepared to open for the day. No need at all for a travel alarm. They didn't once miss.

I am usually very deliberate when I come home drunk. I get water, put my stuff in the exact place they should be, so I usually don't wake up to anything weird.

One night I came home, went to bed, and slept in. I felt pretty good in the morning even though I had been smashed the night before.

When I went to the bathroom though there was evidence that I had yacked in the middle of the night. I don't remember it in the slightest. I must have woken up, puked, cleaned up a little bit (because it was pretty clean) and gone back to sleep.

This happened to 4 friends of mine in Chicago. The next morning, no one knew who had done it. There was a poor attempt at clean up as well. No one honestly remembered doing it. There has been much accusation and recrimination over the years. It is now referred to as "Vomitgate".

Iowa football game weekend my Soph year. Woke up in the hallway outside my apartment to band people leaving for morning practice before the game at like 6 am. Long story short I locked myself out.

The bandies had a good chuckle.

One morning after a night at my buddy's I faintly heard a 3 year old laughing and talking.. I immediately turned over to see my buddy playing with a random kid on his bed who I had never seen before in my life. I was def disturbed considering my buddy was beyond gone the night before. Eventually I figured out that it was his nephew which made more sense and calmed me down quite a bit. No one wants to wake up thinking their friends went out kid napping the night before.

Last night we did 63 mugs. We had 3 guys with birthdays this past week so we went down to Cy's and started around 9pm.

I don't remember leaving Cy's and this morning I woke up to someone else's phone, 4 half drank 2 liters of RC Cola, and I am covered in mud.

I hate to break it to you... but, um... that's not mud.

Not sure if this technically fits...but I once woke up in a tree. About 15 feet up. I was straddling a branch and leaned up against the trunk of the tree, near lot 60. The year was 1986. The how/when/why are...fuzzy.

Halloween of '05 - Me and some friends drove to IC from Ames. Woke up the next morning at my buddies parent's house a half hour away, and couldn't remember leaving Ames... I didn't have a shirt on, my boxers were on the outside of my jeans, and I had a toilet seat around my neck still. It took me 10 minutes to put together that I wasn't in my dorm room, and another 10 to figure out where exactly I was.

Yea if that floor wasn't full of ****** nozzles then I would've gotten one of those 5th floor rooms for my sophomore year. Instead I got the one in Birch with the bathroom in it.

A strange girl kicking me in the gonads. We had a 3-person room in Birch Hall and to save space, one of my roommates put his bed across the top of the bookshelves that sat on top of our desks. I slept in the top bunk of the bunk beds and the foot of this improvised bed abutted the foot of my bed. So the roommate was getting a BJ and the girl had slid down his bed onto mine, to the point where she was giving me a foot job. It's not as romantic as it sounds. :perr:
