@cyclones500 brought this great idea! I can't think of a better way to describe it, so here's his description:

The three-fourths plan: Assume that for your job, regardless of what it is, you work a typical full-time schedule for 9 months each year, and get 3 months off … what months would you work and which would you want off? (The months do not have to be consecutive).

Not exactly sure.
July august september. Can get the summer and some extra football games. Maybe even slide it back a month, love the fall but harvest kills that usually.

I don't want to be off for long periods of time. Work really helps keep my sanity.

For the purpose of playing along:

April: Fishing walleye spawn all week, attending Cubs baseball games and Raptors playoff games.

July: Boating all month making trips to LOTO and Okoboji

December: Spending time with family over the holidays, attending Iowa State basketball games, and (never in a million years would I thought I'd say this, love you Campbell) attending the inevitable bowl game.

Where they love the governor
OK, not sure if it's kosher, but I'm going to not use calendar months...
Last half of December/1st half of January - Nothing gets done at work anyway, and it's a time to go see family. Plus, when Campbell gets us into the big-time bowl games that are in January, I'll be able to watch.

Last half of May/1st half of June - weather's good, start of summer, all that good stuff.

October - It's my birthday month, so I'll need the whole month to celebrate.
