The first CD I got was from my Dad for my birthday; Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream.

The first I bought was Sublime self titled. Both are still awesome albums today.

I don't think it was the first, but an early album that I bought with my own earned money was Sugar Ray's 'Floored'.

It's certainly regrettable, but it's also really hard to buy something that awful, so perhaps there's something valuable in all of it.

This was the first album I was ever gifted.

And I am embarrassed about it.

I wasn't even aware that album exists ... and I'm somewhat ashamed, due to my completist tendencies.

Thinking about The Cover of Rolling Stone kind of took me back. I was kind of surprised to learn that it was written by Shel Silverstein. I felt kind of stupid when I read more and learned that he had a huge portfolio of songs he had written. I just knew of him as an author and cartoonist.

I still have "The Cover of the Rolling Stone" 45. ... I think one of my older sisters bought that ... it was in heavy rotation in my 7-year-old "home radio station."

Technically it's a tie, because I bought them at the same time. "Doggystyle" by Snoop Doggy Dogg and "Dookie" by Green Day. Don't regret either of them.

Black Bear Road by C.W. McCall. You remember this one- it had the song "Convoy" on it.

No regrets; I was I elementary school at the time.

I remember it because we would go by Pisgah on they way to my uncles. I always got a kick out of that.
