Thanks to Buster28 for this one!

Here's how Buster phrased it, I can't really improve upon it:

What is one thing you would want to have/collect/buy (for your own selfish reasons) that you wouldn't normally be able to afford/find easily?

Camaros are pretty. 'Stangs are tough. ;)

If it was for me, it would be another Z (I had an '82 Datsun 280ZX six with a turbo...Baby could flyyyyyyyyy). I'd probably opt for a late 70's, and a little earlier design because of the alloy they used on the bodies in the early 80's...it was highly rust prone. Not good in Iowa...

I'm a lover, not a fighter. (yeah right...). Not trying to be tough. That's why I went for the V6. Just want to cruise with the top down. You can have tough.

I'm so disillusioned. I'd have to go with a '67 Camaro. Candy apple red convertible with an V6 engine. Just for toolin'...
Our 67 had a straight 6. Not sure they had a V6 option back then.
I would love a 67 Camaro as well but with the V8

I nearly forgot it was Friday and wasn't even looking for this! Oops!

Anyway, my original thought on the threat title was this: over last weekend, it popped into my head how cool it would be to have a CMA trophy, or Grammy, or American Music Award, or whatever for something meaningful to me that I could display on a fireplace mantle or in the "music room." I like the old CMA awards that were made of wood more than the crystal forms they are now. I'd want one that said "1981 Entertainer of the Year: Barbara Mandrell." Or if I could get an AMA, it would be for "1980 Favorite Country Single: 'Sleeping Single In A Double Bed.'" It's unlikely that ANY award like that would just show up out of the blue, but I would grab one, even if it was engraved with something I wasn't passionate about. I'd create a replica if I could, but the companies I have found that do that are in China and pretty sketchy. I figure most other personal material wishes I could make happen on my own if I really wanted to (or with a little luck), but having an acutal music industry award will probably never be a reality.
