some people get so angry about nothing. if you don't want to take part, don't - but don't belittle the people who think it will be cool/fun.

Aw shucks, nobody's hating. It's just good-natured mocking, and anyone participating in the freeze should expect at least a little of that.

Why should they expect that? You're all just *****.

Well I would say any time you do something to draw attention to yourself you should be wary of the type of attention you'll receive. So toughen up Sally, it's a place called "reality".

nice post:yes: im not a fun hater and never will be, but this is dumb there is probably some girl to chase or a beer pong game to play with instead of wasting your time standing still, i am not a fun hater and wont be for awhile hell im only 27

I get the feeling you did very little of either. Afterall, there is work to be done, why waste time having fun:wideeyed:

There's a difference between criticizing and questioning.

I have no idea what this has to do with football...

I saw the freeze video before (Grand Central, right?) but the slow-motion in Home Depot was far more entertaining to me...

there's a cool video of that Improv Everywhere group all doing motions in the front windows of some big book store or something. It's called "look up" or something like that. Pretty cool. And the idea of the freeze (and all the random improv) is just for the reaction of people who don't know about it. I mean, if you're walking on central campus and see that in mass, that'd be pretty puzzling. What's wrong with putting a smile on people's faces?

Boy for one that generally does nothing but degrade others around here, you sure are getting your panties in a twist about this

When I criticize someone, there is a good reason for it. Unlike you ********, you can't stand to see people have fun.

how did the freeze thing go?
It was really cool. I got there about 30 seconds too late to participate, so I took out my camera and filmed it instead. There were a little over 500 students frozen, mostly on the south half of Central Campus. TONS of puzzled bystanders walking around, people coming out of class in Curtiss, amused visitors. I wound up talking to a guy visiting ISU to see if he wants to get his MFA here. He's a photographer, and was having the time of his life with all the people frozen in bizarre poses.

It was lots of fun, and they got a huge round of applause when they unfroze!

Ahh OK. How would anyone know. So if you decided to just go ahead and not move someone would have made you move in order to prevent you from participating because you were 30 seconds behind all the other hippies who were already not moving?

I can just see everyone else who was already frozen start to move just after you stop moving thereby keeping you from participating. LOL
