Of course I'm still pumped about the huge win, but last night again showed that Fran Fraschilla has to be one of the top, if not best, color guys out there. Spot on with almost all of his comments.

I thought one of the best examples was when Naz was called for a foul on the Flopper's drive to the basket and Fran said "You just can't bail out a star like that- that's wrong" after replays showed Naz didn't touch him. Fran was also all over the Flopper's foul when Kane ran him over at the baseline. I loved it.

Fran may not be rooting for the Cyclones anytime they play OU, but I really enjoy his Big 12 calls.

Most of the time when he says something I don't like about ISU I have to admit that he isn't wrong. Except when did Kane grow to 6'6"? I've heard that repeatedly in the last two games, more on Saturday than today.

I really like Musberger and Fran together, they balance each other well. Enjoy listening to them.

I love that they kept saying Smart flopped and he is an actor. Just loved it.

I loved his call of the replay showing Smart flop against Kane on the baseline. "Now that's a flop, and that's a foul. Sorry Marcus, that's a 25 year old man you're playing against"

I said the same thing about Royce white. He started the year at 6'6. Then he went to 6'7, 6'8, and I actually heard a 6'9 a couple of times by ncaa tourney time. When I met him in person there's no way he was a shade over 6'6. Possibly even 6'5. I'm 6'2 and he wasn't that much taller than me. His hands were ginormous. That wasn't an exaggeration.

I can't remember if it was Fran or Musberger, but one of them asked if you would rather have Nerlens Noel for 1 year or Georges for 4.
I would love for Fred to start bringing in McD AAs and 1-and-done type players, but how great is it going to be to have Georges for 2 more years?

You could tell last year when Fran/Brent came to Ames to call the KU game, they were in genuine awe of the atmosphere.

Also, Fran likes being in Ames. He went to the ISU/Iowa game just as a fan.

He and Jay Bilas are my favorite announcers. Both seem to research the teams really well and can comment intelligently on the game as it progresses because they actually know something about them.

Agreed. I honestly wonder how much basketball Bilas watches. It seems like he doesn't do anything but watch games. Very knowledgable.

With Kane at 6'6 and Niang at 6'9 (per the halftime crew last night), we should really be unstoppable.

He's a Hickory Park fan. I love the guy, he always knows his stuff and you can hear things about our guys that only internet/social media type fans would know.

Heard him say that he had seen all 351 Division 1 teams this season. Most experts probably couldn't name all 351.

He does go see a practice at Sukup once in a while. Usually before every season begins.
