Hall of Famer Steve 'Mongo' McMichael dies at 67
Hall of Fame defensive tackle Steve McMichael, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2021, died Wednesday at the age of 67, the NFL announced.

Mongo was one-of-a-kind. Quite the character. Terrible he had to go out dealing with that awful disease. RIP.
I lived in Chicago from '03 to '14 and all those '85 Bears players were still massive celebrities in Chicago with their names on everything and constantly on local radio and tv. If you didn't know you'd have thought they were the 2010 Superbowl Champs.
My 2nd favorite Bear of all-time after Walter Payton (whom is the single greatest football player of all-time followed by "Larry Legend" aka Lawrence Fitzgerald Junior).
I LOVE Jim McMizzle (mine and best friend nickname for McMahon), Richard Dent, Richard Butkus and Gale Sayers, but they were never in WCW (@CycloneRulzzz knows what's up).
I may be an AZ Cardinals fan first, JAX fan second, and Bears fan third (my two best friends are Bears fans so by extension), but the 1985 Bears are the SINGLE. GREATEST. NFL team of ALL-TIME!!!!!!!!
