Google earth has updated its imaging of Ames and even has the birdseye view. You can see the new scoreboard and tunnel now!

Google Earth street view is still from fall of '07.

I know this because my red ****-box Dodge Neon is still parked in the yard at 103 S. Hyland Ave.

We noticed they had updated recently when we looked and our spring patio project was on the map. I can even say the picture was most likely on a Tuesday since our garbage can is at the end of the drive.

I always liked the birds eye view on Bing maps. Glad Google Maps copied that.
