Some comments from the article.
1. Says she went to school at Santa Barbara, not sure where she's from but any official not speaking with a Texas drawl gets a thumbs up from me.
She has to be in a skirt, right?
No, an apron. Now get back in the kitchen and make me a sammich. She has to be in a skirt, right?
1. She's only working one game, which is Kansas against SE Missouri St, so this whole thing is fairly overblown.
2. The officials at this level of football are making over a grand per game when you factor in per diem and travel costs. Not sure how much more they need or deserve. The reason they make less total money than some other sports is that they can only work once per week.
Where do I apply for that job?I really hope they make more than that. I worked as a camera grip for ESPN during an ISU-Iowa football game when I was a student and I made almost $1000 for two days of work (prep on Friday, broadcast and teardown).
