Can somebody explain to me how Centerville makes #12 on the list? Maybe that's where Siouxer City is supposed to be....

Centerville is 10 miles from Missouri. Pretty open and shut if you ask me.

That's how CB is #1, Omaha. People who talk about the walmart in CB are spot on, I've posted some stories on here about that place. However, generally half of the plates there are from Nebraska, they come straight over the bridge from South Omaha.

I don't think Memphis is that bad. Certain areas like on the Arkansas side yea, but I didn't feel unsafe when I was in Memphis.

I was there last summer and I wouldn't say I felt safe on Beale St. Well, not so much ON Beale because there were cops everywhere, but around Beale. Two guys were mugged walking a few blocks back to the hotel and there was another attempt on someone at the same meeting. Maybe that's an awful part of the city but I was more nervous there than anywhere I have been.

Story City was headed to make this list, however they voted against the truck stop.

My favorite Italian place in Chicago was cash only.

I didn't ask. They didn't tell. But lordy that food was good

I bought a matress from a store in chicago a few months ago that knocked 100 off only if I'd pay cash. Then called me the next day when I was picking up to make sure it'd be cash. I called it my mob matress but I already sold it.

Weird, one side of my family is from Eagle Grove, the other is from Centerville. Guess I'm just a product of your everyday 16 and pregnant meth head.

Sioux City gets a bad rep because of the stock yards smell (now virtually gone) and how isolated it is from other larger Iowa towns. There's a small 'bad part' but it's not much.
