One of my favorite movies of all time that was doomed by a horrible marketing campaign was “The Girl Next Door” was pinned as a raunchy/stupid American Pie clone but actually had a a ton of heart behind it. Also had a top tier soundtrack, some great twists and a ton of amazing actors in it.

I remember seeing that movie and thinking Elisha Cuthbert was going to be the next breakout female lead. Emile Hirsh was being pegged as a future star (before his issues) and also had Paul Dano, Timothy Olaphant, and some random cameos from unknowns at the time like Olivia Wilde.

Highly recommend but I think the age you are when you watch for the first time might be a factor.

Multiplicity was a light hearted comedy that starred Michael Keaton and Andi McDowell and my wife and I saw it together so it must be from the early 90's. It's this silly thing we still quote each other all the time but none of our friends ever understand the references.

Four directors each get a short story or a room in the hotel. Tarantino directs and acts on his scene. Tim Roth is exceptional, and I love Antonio Banderas in the Misbehavers story.

Just watched this on Netflix last week and really forgot how good it is. Really top notch cast and worth a watch to see how beautiful Elisha Cuthbert was in this role.

Two of the rooms are pretty meh. But Banderas and Willis rooms are top notch.

Roger Ebert once said "The Third Man" was one of his favorite movies. Made in 1950, Never had heard of it, so I watched it a few weeks ago..outstanding!

If you have the chance, take the time to watch it. Orson Welles is incredible.

So, maybe others like myself had never seen or heard about it.
