......
"Stanley said he faced questions about consistency during informal interviews with 25 NFL teams this week.....
It’s the first time he’s ever addressed his mechanical problems, he said, particularly the issues which have led him
to sail the ball on deep passes.
“I never really worked with anybody (on mechanics),” Stanley said.

........

That's quite the endorsement for the TOE coaching staff. Nice.

No kidding. To average 9.5 wins over the three years he started says volumes about the staff. That would be the best three year stretch ever at some schools. Throw in 3 bowl wins and two Top 25 finishes without ever teaching throwing mechanics is downright impressive.

That's all he needs to tell them in the interviews. "Weight? Mechanics? WTF are you guys asking about that for?"

How soft is your schedule if you average 9.5 wins and only finish ranked twice? Lol

Stanley is at the bottom of almost every metric this guy evaluates. Can't figure out how he's considered a top QB. Maybe scouts really like how he takes snaps under center and hands it to the RB?

He’s not considered a top QB. He’s a 5th - 7th rounder.

Is ISU going to have anyone drafted this year?

Honest question.
Our best shot this year may be Steve Wirtel, our long snapper. He got invited to the combine and put up good numbers. Ray Lima could be, he was really good at NT the last two years. If he doesn't get drafted, he'll sign with someone. Julian Good-Jones, LT, will probably get a look as a free agent but I don't think will make it any further than a practice squad. I think that like usual we won't have much for the draft but a half dozen guys will sign free agent contracts within a few days after. Most of our best players last year were underclassmen - QB, RB, LBs, a couple WRs. The only position we really lose a lot next year is DT. If we have guys who can fill in there and on the OL we could certainly be a Top 25 team. Of the OL is good (!!!) we could be a really good team next year.
