Fanatics missing in action

Nobody has been banned simply for creating a stir. There are numerous posters around here who do little else.

In my short time as a mod, only a handful of users have been permanently banned. Most all have been for making direct insults towards other members or repetitive rules breaking - usually language. All have had temp bans first.

I'm hard pressed to think of a single member banned, temp or perm, simply for "what" they've posted - aside from the language apect.

Well I'm happy to hear no one got banned for creating a stir. I think people are getting to sensitive about that stuff. Not saying the mods, I'm saying everyone in general. You guys do a great job of doing what you got to do. I'll tell you guys that any day of the week. As long as your head's don't get too big. :wink:. Kidding of course

Totally agree.. its a great site, but sometimes people are wayyy to sensitive. It is only a message board after all.

If I have not been banned yet, I think it is pretty safe to say, you really have to do a LOT to get banninated.

Instead of banning perpetrators, I suggest they be forced to spend a week in Iowa City on a work release program.
