I'll give a pass to one man in the ads, mentioned above. He's the man with the horns helmet. His name is Christopher Darga and he gets the pass because he voiced the character of Kenny Blankenship and was one of the producers, writers and creators of the TV show "MXC."

Note that I do not use the bank's name in the ads.

I flip channels or turn off the set when these ads appear.

I suspect that others from MXC are in these ads but cannot say definitively so.

Regardless, Alec Baldwin is in the ads and that's all I need to see to cause me to flip the channel or turn my head and always promise that I will never acquire one of those credit cards.

How's that for taking an annoying person and turning it into a private campaign and commitment? He's one very annoying person.

Tim Tebow....He single handedly ruined ESPN for me....ESPN made up their own statistical category (QB Rating, different from passing rating) just to try to show how he had some sort of value....I don't know how they get off trying to patronize mediocre quarterbacks like Mark Sanchez, Tebow or Joe Flacco....

Yes. I find that a high percentage of every person and story associated with ESPN quickly starts to irritate. I think it's a natural reaction to having something shoved down your throat endlessly...
