God, Coleman is doing it already. Bull charging into the lane and making lucky banks. Then flopping like crazy on defense and punching himself in the chest after every play.

Yeah but if he did it on our team and we win you guys would be singing his praises.

I am not an anti-Eric Coleman guy...but doesn't it seem as though he has played at UNI for about 6 years? I can't remember a UNI team without him!

He has beeen there so long, they named a building after him. Coleman Biology Institute.

As hard as Eric Coleman plays for UNI - which I respect, I just can't stand the way he bulldozes his way into the lane and throws up an out of control shot. It seems like he holds his breath every time like he just got the ball and is about to hit the line of scrimmage.

Drives me nuts.

Efffff UNI, go Cyclones!

He may bulldoze his way into the lane but he is competely under control when he shoots and has great touch around the basket... He gets the ball high and FINISHES... He is a hell of a player and I wish he was a cyclone...

Me, too. He reminds me of a big Stinson. He uses his physicality to get to the rack and nothing's gonna stop him. Who wouldn't want a guy like that?

I've watched Coleman play a lot and he was the toughest guy on the floor for both teams tonight. He's a scrappy, blue collar player who get's it done. His long arms and good jumping ability compensate for his 6' 6" height. For some reason he reminds me of Kenny Pratt, but doesn't have as bad an attitude.

I'd love to have him on our team and he'd start for most Division 1 teams in the country.

i love watching him play, its like watching a train wreck

he looks like a big, goofy, wild, flopping out of control muppet, yet finishes and rebounds smooth as silk. Bizzare, very odd.

Eric was definitely the best player on the floor tonight.

That includes the Emmy and the Oscar for the 2 best flops of the year. And give him the Outland trophy for the bulldozer on Cory. Award winning performance.

He's lucky Brackins got a couple of calls. If he was in the whole first half, he would have had to change his playing style for the game. As it was, our best player (on the inside) was on the bench.

If they'll let him do it, he might as well keep on doin' it.

Amen to that! And as long as we sit out on the perimeter, passing the ball every 6 seconds without driving the lane, teams are just gonna sit back and watch. They don't have to try to defend us, we do it ourselves! We have to move, set a pick, run a play, something. The last two games looks like playground pickup basketball for the most part. We have flashes of brilliance once in a while, but then we sit back and run the stalling offense.

I think UNI will be fine with Jacobsen's coaching/recruiting. Dunham at 6'6" and a rs frosh looked pretty good. Koch and Elgeseder are soph, the big guy has really inproved. And O'Rear? came in as another frosh and looked as good as or better than our big subs. And their starting pg, Alegehbe (sp) will probably redshirt and have 3 more years. Somebody at UNI whether it's Jake or was GMac has the ability to spot quality among the unknowns and turn them into a team. Coleman, Stout, McGowen Josten, and Ben Jacobsen jr. to name a few.
