Still haven't gotten mine yet, has anyone used the EA Teambuilder site? Reviews?
Teambuilder is pretty cool IMO but lacking in some ways. The uniform and field design stuff is pretty awesome with all of the options you get. It's important to know that you only get to design the field and then you have to pick an existing CFB stadium to use and then any logos within that stadium that aren't on the field will stay as that teams. So if you picked Jack Trice, all of the field stuff would change, but there would still be I-State logos around the stadium. Which really sucks, but I bet that was a deal they had to make to get all of them in the game. Disappointing EA didn't design generic stadiums for this reason.

People have put together some lists of stadiums that have minimal logos around, so you can find those online pretty easy. I ended up using Cal's stadium, its the biggest stadium that has minimal logos. Only ones I really notice are the padding on the FG post base say Cal. Also, the announcers will still say welcome to Berkley during the beginning of the game, but my Teambuilder team is in Massachusetts.

Are there sliders in the game or is it all or none between variety and AA?
Tons of sliders. Lots to play with and it’ll take awhile to find the right setting.

My biggest worry is that so far AA seems rigged. I like a challenge but want the gameplay to stay fair. There should be close games and blowouts both ways. I hate when it’s scripted to stay close.

Well that's weird, the previous versions didn't have that limitation, you could pick a stadium 'template' that was generic (bowl, horseshoe, etc.) with a decent capacity, as well as different environmental settings around the stadium. Wonder why they eliminated that.

This is exactly the issue. It’s not that it’s hard, it’s that the AI becomes invincible at times.

There are sliders but I'm not very good at tuning them myself. I've been watching Operation sports and we'll probably grab a set off of their once somebody has a solid set
Yeah, it takes me about a month or so every year on MLB The Show to get my sliders right so it may take some trial and error on this game.

That's good, I'll probably start on the default level and adjust the slides if I'm not getting competitive games.

Getting so damn frustrated. The difficulty gap between varsity and all American is absurd. I'm blowing teams out by 50 on varsity and I'm 0-9 on AA. I can keep it close the entire game but literally every game the AI walks it down the field in the 4th quarter and scores as many times as they need to, no matter what. Absolutely maddening when it you're locked in all game and then at the end literally nothing you do matters.

This is totally my experience as well. On varsity I'm winning every game by 20+. On AA I cannot do anything. I can't sustain a drive. I can't hit a big play. A minimum of 3-4 interceptions per game. A holding call whenever I do spring a big play. And defensively, they just do whatever they way. I'm sticking with Varsity now for the sake of my blood pressure and thinking I'll try switching back once my team has improve a little more.

Fifa offline had a similar issue with one of their game modes where you'd rank up to a certain level really fast offline and then the computer just started cheating on every pass and playing the most stifling defense imaginable.

Even beyond some of the bad luck things (penalities, turnovers, etc.), the defense being in perfect position every time ****** me off. I try to run a variety of plays and keep run and pass even. But I swear every time I ran they were in a run blitz, and every time I passed they all dropped back into zone.

I try to mix it up quite a bit as well and can usually move the ball without too many issues for the first 3 quarters. Then the fourth quarter starts and The defense always has the perfect counter to every play and my defenders just suddenly forget how to play ball.

I actually haven't even started a dynasty yet because I Don't feel like it's even going to be fun until I can acclimate to the difficulty.

How do you save clips, is it within the replay options? I've had a couple funky things happen that I wanted video of but didn't spend very long trying to figure it out.
He just sent me a Snapchat of the instant replay right after it happened. I know how to clip things on PS5 but can’t explain it very well lol

32 man seems like ALOT.

we have 8 and its hard to figure out when someone can/can't play their game so we can move on to the next week.
So far the biggest struggle was getting everyone into the dynasty. Week one everyone got done in a four day stretch with like 7-8 user vs user games in there and week two should be the same. We have 32 spread across three conferences with almost everyone in their conference knowing each other. (8 in 4 would’ve been best case scenario but would’ve had randoms with each other) Each conference has their own group chat and then I just picked someone I could trust from each conference to be their “commissioner” and help me keep things moving. So far so good but I’m sure we’ll inevitably have a few weeks in there that drag on

Continuing to murder my HBs. This is his condition after the first game of the new season. He has 23 carries and like 135 yards. Even subbed him out for a quarter. Injury slider is set to 5.

I'm starting to think my game might be bugged somehow. No way I shouldn't be able to have a guy play for a game without getting this banged up.

I made a simple AA slider adjustment that I saw on Reddit and it did help. Only change on offense was to pump run and pass blocking to 55. On defense switch int, pass coverage and pass reaction to 30. I still threw picks but it seemed more reasonable at least and fair. But defense is still super tough of course.

All my games in AA were against good teams. I dropped back to varsity for two more games against ranked teams. Will try to dial it up to AA again soon.

I might have to bump off of varsity. I have gotten extremely lucky and I weirdly have a RB with a 99 rating going in to his RS Sophomore year. He makes Tecmo Bowl Bo Jackson look soft

Finally started a dynasty. Up 35-7 on FCS Northwest. First play of the 4th quarter their QB breaks 4 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and launches the ball 60 yards for a completion. They hadn't made it past my 50 all game, the 7 they had was me throwing a pick-6 to end the first half. Just unreal how invincible teams become in the 4th quarter on this game. EA doesn't even try to hide it.

Figure out how to increase brand exposure yet? Trying to prevent Sama and Cooper from both transferring after year one like others have experienced. Started the season 4-0 but brand exposure hasn't moved at all.
