Going to miss this guy. Always enjoyed his energy, enthusiasm, and uncanny ability to clean up.

Won't forget his wide open Ku dunk this year or the inbounds defense vs Baylor last year.

Good guy. One of my favorites.

Good player. Wish things could have ended better. He'll be playing somewhere next year if he wants to play for a few more years.

I'll miss Hogue's spastic movements that were always somehow under control even though they never appeared to be. He just about always hit a shot when we needed something too. Gonna be a tough guy to replace.

One of my favorite players on this team, no doubt. Charismatic, fun. Great dance moves after the Big 12 championships.

However, something must've happened with his awful play the last few weeks. Injury, fatigue, I don't know.

As a whole, our seniors averaged a combined 7.7 points in the Big 12 Tournament and today. Really can't have that.

Guy was tenacious under the rim, and a solid shooter when he needed to be. Always seemed to hit 3's at the right time even though that's not his strong suit. I think he played a bit out of position with the addition of McKay/departure of Ejim, but that won't take away from all his accomplishments.

I'll miss the player he was for all up until Kansas City (where if you were there....he was extremely pouty) and today where he basically didn't show up. Not sure what his deal was.....but we really needed his toughness today and he just wasn't there.

And it's a shame....one if the fiercest rebounders I've ever seen at Iowa state, great hustler.

Great player, will miss him. Not sure how many times I said no when he went to shoot a 3 this year before I realized he was a darn good shooter!

Glad someone finally started this thread. Dude gave it his all for his team every single game, and it's a tragedy that his career had to go out like it did. I guarantee his name will come up a couple times after losses next year similar to Kane and Ejim.

I will agree with this.

Anytime we lack someone to just 'scrap' next year I imagine DH name should come up.

Love Dustin, and loved hearing Jon Rothstein mention him every other week in his observations as the most underrated player in the country.

I'll miss his toothpicks the most.

Dustin was tenacious, fighting tooth and nail, always leaving everything on the court and everything to the team. Easily the most improved player in my opinion during the Hoiberg era.

Felt compelled to start it.

Losing is tough but we should all take a minute to be glad these young men showcased their talents for us.

Love Hogue's non-stop motor, it's unfortunate his rebounding production fell off so much from last year, we really could have used it. I wonder if the addition of McKay into the lineup was the main factor?

Yeah, really tough to see him go out this way. Even though he didn't score (I think), he at least had a couple of good hustle plays.

Every successful, NCAA tournament hopeful team needs a Dustin or two in their lineup to make that success happen.

Thanks Dustin.
