I didn't think Fred would ever get hired either.

Fred has shown signs that he will be a great coach.

But the hire only worked because he was a Cyclone legend and we all love him. And because our program was so far down that we were willing to give him a chance.

Gottlieb is not a Kansas State legend and their program is/was in good shape.

I thought that this was a joke for a second, but Gottlieb possibly wanting the job at K-State would be intriguing. He does know a lot about the Big 12 from playing at Oklahoma State for four years. Also I would love for us to whip his *** twice every season after all the **** he talked about us this year.

Three years. He played at Notre Dame as a freshman before stealing his roommate's credit card and putting $900 in charges on it. Then he went to Okie State and played for Sutton. Doug's dad was a former asst. coach under Sutton.
