Does ISU drop out of the rankings?

I wanted the streak to continue indefinitely; we all did.

But it means nothing without validity, and ISU doesn't deserve to stay in top 25 right now.

I'm trying to embrace the 61-week accomplishment on its own terms.

Perform well enough to re-enter the rankings, and start a new streak.

Essentially we have dropped to 41st. Losing to Iowa will do that to you though.

Talk about dropping like a stone. Tied in votes with Loyola-Chicago! Beating San Diego State will do that, apparently.

Loyola does not have results worthy of a single point in top 25 ranking.

Edit: ISU probably doesn't deserve a point, either, but if a voter insists on choosing an outlier #25, ISU is a better idea than Loyola.
