Offensively we’ve figured nothing out in 5 years. Defensively, I think teams have figured us out a bit in 5 years. Offense needs address, if not, yes he’s out of gas.

I totally agree. I watched a few other games yesterday where you see QB's who may not be as talented as Brock but performed way better because their coaches put them in situations to be successful. Our coaching staff is really underperforming and for the first time I'm experiencing a lack of faith in Campbell. Still plenty of time to right the ship, but I felt levels of fan pain yesterday that I haven't felt since the CPR era

No long hard look needed......look at that passive defensive series at the end of the first half......about 10 minutes of video will tell you that we are not any better than the baylor loss and other piss poor prevent win defense. The rush-3 gimic is played out......The passivity of that was infectious.....more devastating than a pink locker room.

He didn't seem pissed off. He wasn't angry. He wasn't saying "this is unacceptable" He was tipping his cap to the better team. A Sun Belt team.

He seemed... resigned.

Very true, but this will happen again while CMC is here. I love the passion of fans, but after coaching for 35 years the simple truth is alot of fans are clueless in the fine line between success and failure at the d 1 level. Of course, real bluebloods mostly excluded.

The simple fact is that this is a hard place to coach. In go an average of 7 and 5 every year with an occasional up and down year I would be pleased. The other this is that a lot of people on this thread need to eat a big dose of humble pie.
