Dish Network vs local CBS

Seems Dish Network is at odds with the local CBS affiliate and as of today I no longer have CBS. I am seriously ******. You pull this **** now? How about the other 11 months of the year when my TV doesn't touch CBS. Arrrggggh!

Guess I will shell out the $4 to watch it on my computer, but it's not gonna be the same.

Blame your local affiliate most likely. Theyre probably demanding rate increases from Dish.

I have dish near Omaha and have it and am seeing CBS right now.

The OTA picture and sound are usually better than what dish has anyway.

all I have is ota channels and the hd is the best I have seen

It's not uncommon unfortunately. I have Directv and they have had issues with local affiliates and I know Mediacom has as well. Usually it's the local station trying to raise their carriage rates by an obscene amount.
