Delusional? No not at all. Had he Skyped McDermott you would love him right now and would be talking about what a fine job his mother had done raising him and how articulate he is. But because he invited the public and chose another school he is a sneaky, manipulative liar that used and embarrassed both ISU and it's fans. Should a guy marry the first girl he ever dates no matter what? Is it ok if it doesn't work out? You sound like the crazy scorned girlfriend who breaks out the ex's headlights. I choose to be the person who says hey good luck, no hard feelings, it's not like we were engaged, we were just dating. Good luck HB! Go Cyclones!!!

No a guy shouldn't marry the first girl he dates. But then again, when he chooses someone new and decides to propose, he shouldn't invite the former girlfriend and her family to watch him get down on a knee and hand over the ring.
