Check the lines going into your multi switch. It could be that cable also.... That happend to me once, a little varmit bit a hole through the outer sheething and it slowly rusted. I had the exact same issue, I found the one bad cable and re-ran it, and it worked wonderfully.

It would either be your LNB or a single cable.

I'm guessing ice. Looks like I'm having the same problem on 103/99. 119/110/101 are fine, though, from what I can tell.

edit: I take that back. I've got nothing on 99, 103 or most transponders on 110 and 119, though 101 seems ok.

You should look for any local DirecTV installer and call them direct. Sometimes you can get better response if you call them yourself... You may have to pay though.

I was on a ladder this afternoon with my tank sprayer full of hot water... That finally did the trick and got me back up and running.

BTW-Once you get up there on the dish, coat it in rain-x. I've never done it but they say it works.

And that is why my dish is on a pole, on the ground, next to the house.

Re: DirecTV gone kaput?

The 11 local markets to receive HD programming from DIRECTV include:

-- Albany/Schenectady/Troy, N.Y. -- Paducah, Ky.
-- Cedar Rapids/Waterloo, Iowa -- Tucson, Ariz.
-- Flint/Saginaw/Bay City, Mich. -- Waco/Temple/Bryan, Texas
-- Lincoln/Hastings, Neb. -- Wichita/Hutchinson, Kan.
-- Louisville, Ky. -- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Pa.
-- Omaha, Neb.

HD to the east, HD to the west, but no HD locals in the largest market of the state of Iowa?...when is Des Moines getting them?

No problems here and our dish was covered with ice on Tuesday.

Ice melted off my dish some today, and I've got good signals on 101, 110 and 119, as well as slightly weak signals on 103b. I'm not entirely sure which tps I should be picking up on 99 and 103, though. At any rate, all the HD channels are working fine.
