Direct TV - Game Plan or Sports Pack?

It's that time of year again where I need to choose a Direct TV sports package to ensure I get the one giving me optimum Cyclone Football Coverage. Last year I chose Sports Pack because it included most if not all Fox Outlets, and it worked out okay. I would think the same would be true this season if Sports Pack is indeed offered, but I have been seeing recent adds for Game Plan.

So does anyone have a clue as to the best choice this year? Sorry if this has already been discussed, if so I missed it.

Sports Pack will get you FSN and FCS.

GamePlan is only a benefit when ISU is on ABC and you live outside the region showing the game.

Get an Xbox and use espn360 - well, at least next year :) Although a laptop will work, too , which is what I'm doing this fall.

I think it's 12.99 unless you already have a premium (HBO, Showtime, etc.)

How much is it with a premium then? I had it last year and loved it. You get to see a lot of teams you games you never would have before,

$12.99 a month or year?

Month. I think my bill (got the Choice Extra and the sports pack) is about $50...that was last month when they were running "mega specials" on their packages. I just now realized that these do not include local channels...wtf. To get local channels do you just hook up an antenna (mine doesnt have an internal)?

What does ESPN 360 all have on it? I know there is a lot of stuff that isn't broadcast on the main channels, but say an ISU game is on FSN or FCS.. Will that game be on ESPN 360 or will you just be SOL if you don't have them?

It's ESPN3.com now. It has pretty much everything that's on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, GamePlan (football) and FullCourt (basketball).

No FSN or FCS football games will be on ESPN3.com. Direct competitors and all that.

Sports Pack if you want to watch ISU games. Do not get Game Plan, unless you want to watch watch Nevada vs. BYU.
