It was on College Basketball Live between the NIT Semifinal games. I just heard the tail end of Miles Simon talking, so I don't really know what was said, but they were talking about who they thought would be the most successful early entrant.

He compared him to Anthony Mason, same as he did when he called a game earlier this year, and said it doesn't matter if he plays the 3 or the 4, he's just a basketball player.

I agree with him. I think the perception that he 'cant shoot' is blown way out of proportion. He never really 'had' to shoot far out because it was so easy for him to get to the rim. and when a big guy backed way off of him, he hit some pretty nice jumpers. Royce will be a good pro.

Heard it too. Nothing but love from the entire crew.

Guaranteed Royce will be working w/the best trainers prior to the draft. It's a business now.

They were only talking about 5 players......that had already formally announced coming out early.....not the entire class.

Talked about Austin Rivers, some big guy from Mississippi St, a guy from Syracuse, and Royce....thats what I saw.

Royce will be a 15ppg / 9rpg / 4apg type player. That is a very solid stat line. He will continue to develop certain parts of his game, including FT shooting, mid-range jumpers and defense.

I honestly see his stat line very favorable to Harrison's at the next level.

Royce is just unique as hell, and with his strength, ball handling and passing abilities, I think he'll be a steal for someone. Was just watching the UConn game again tonight, and it made me a bit nervous, as he was such an integral part of our offense this year. I know Fred will have us ready, and we are loaded with talent. It's just going to be a totally different look next year.

yeah he got a ton of love and Gotleib even said very positive things

Yeah Doug was the first one to bring him up. Said he can shoot, dribble, and pass. Also mentioned his anxiety order but DG said it wouldn't be a big issue for him to get past.

Lot of positive things about Royce, was great to hear.

Miles Simon is the best basketball analyst on ESPN. I'm not just saying this because of this compliment, I was impressed all season. He will be doing bigger games very soon.

Miles Simon has been high on RW and ISU all season. He did do color for like 3 or 4 of our games.
