Lol, I dont even remember how this came up the other day honestly. It's not that big of a deal, just seemed weird at the time becuase our defense was about the least worry of any team in the country but we lacked players who could simple put the ball in the basket, something Hinson did very well.
I would guess it was because letting one player slide while expecting more effort from everyone else leads to a cascade of others wanting to be treated with the same leniency and that makes establishing a defense first program a little wobbly with inconsistencies.
I dont think it was a matter of letting anything slide, some guys simply aren't as good on defense as other players. It doesn't mean they aren't putting out effort.
Well he apparently didn't want to put it in the same effort as everyone else was expected so I guess it would mean he didn't put in the effort when the season came along.
My man I have no idea why you are going in so hard on this but I am simply going by what was reported.
October 23rd Hinson said he was moving on the day after TJ met with players individually. Guy went through a month of practice, decided it wasn't for him and before he lost a year playing in a game for a role he didn't want; made the decision to leave.
Doesn't make Hinson a bad guy or TJ a tyrant. Sometimes **** just doesn't work out.
