You may be my favorite cyclone of all time and you have only been here a year. But, dude, you should go pro. I think another year with a true point to allow you to show your post game would serve you well but go get paid.

Thanks for the fun year.

Disagree, one more year and he will dominate along with a damn good team. Potential player of the year and conference title contender.

Want him to come back. Think Lucious could help his low post game. But he should go. Get paid and do us proud. His stock is high now.

Wherever I go, there I am.
I'm sure he will sort it out with Fred. BUT I am not sure all of you are correct. He ooked great tonight but I'm not sure that makes him a first rounder. In the end, Royce will do what he thinks is best. His thinking is not always conventional...

Nope...he needs to stick around for one more. Develop a 15 ft shot and his defense. He could be such a huge force next year with some work done in the off season.

Royce played like a champ tonight. I still think he can improve his draft position with another year, but I understand he's got to do what's best for him. I'm sure Fred will give him great advice.

You don't get "paid" by being a second round draft pick.

Come back. Develop a mid range game. Become unstoppable. Then go play in the lottery.

Royce definately got a lot of attention for himself by his play today. However, scouts don't draft players based on their good games only. They'll look over all of his games and see that there is some inconsistency.

Now I don't pretend to know what's best for Royce... but my opinion (which isn't worth 2 cents) is that he'd benefit from coming back for a second year to show that consistency (both offense and defense). The numbers (points) improve a little bit. Keep the assists and rebounding up. Turnovers go down a little and you'll see a lotto pick.

Right now, I'd guess he's a second round pick, and I don't think any sophomore should settle for that when you can raise your stock as much as Royce still can. (He plays like he did tonight day in and day out next season and I see a top 3 pick next year)

If he were a Junior or a Senior, I'd mayby agree he should go pro. But he can do so much better in college with a full year of experience under his belt.

I don't even think he needs to develop a mid-range game. He just has to do what he's good at on a daily basis. And doing what he did in tonight's game for 25 out of 30 games next year will be more than enough for a lotto pick.

If he wants to really get paid he should come back and let the spotlight shine next year.

If a team is going to pay him big bucks he would be stupid to stay. That being said for my own selfish reasons I want him back next year.

I will support Royce with whatever he chooses, but as Cyclone nation thinks and wants him to stay, the entire nation, after tonight, thinks he's gone.

AGREE 100 % BUT HE NEEDS TO TO WHAT IS BEST FOR HIM AND HIS FAMILY

And in contrast to my previous two posts... I agree with the above statements even more so. I think Fred will have Royce's best interest in mind when speaking with him about his future. And if what's truly best is for Royce to declare this year... then I hope he does.

I just think there's too many players out there that will go ahead of him based on a full season of performances. (Not to discredit Royce's season which was spectacular, I just think he can do so much more yet in his second year)

Add in the fact that I'm clearly biased that I want him to stay for my own self interest of getting to watch him in a Cyclone uniform for another year. (I don't really watch the NBA)

Royce I love you playing for the Cyclones, but if you and Fred determine the NBA is for you I have nothing but thankfulness for your time here.

In the NBA, he won't get to start 30 feet out and take it to the rim. Everybody will be taller and stronger. If he can't hit the 15 footer, he has no chance of making it. Now, there may be a team that will pay him alot to learn to hit the 15 footer. I trust Fred to give him good advice. If he comes back I think we are a legimate final 4 team next year.
