Early in the game they said we have no depth and primarily use 5 players and Alabama is going to wear us out. What? Then later it was all about our depth. They clearly were hoping for Alabama to win. I had to finally use the mute button until we had the ball. Hard fought game and glad we kept our composure.

Post game one of the ESPN guys said that it's nice to have a guy like Hogue come off the bench.....HUH??? Kinda surprised that we weren't the hawkeyes tonight too.

in defense of len, he just did the tourney in puerto rico and then went straight to this double header. its not like he had time to check out practice and talk to the coaches beforehand like most the analysts do during the season.

one drawback of espn having so many games is that they are surprisingly stretched thin for broadcast talent. elmore is an ACC guy, don't think he's done a b12 game in years.
