Will be a tough first round match.
Am I calculating correct that it will be starting at 2:30am central?
Is there any streaming coverage of Junior Worlds?
Believe it is on TrackWrestling, have to be a subscriber to watch
Tough draw for the Russian IMO.
May be a stream here not sure
74KG - David Carr, OH
Opening Bout - Betanov (RUS)
Betanov is a returning Bronzze medalist at the same weight.
Also in Carr's Half - David has his work cut out for him. Despite being in the smaller half, USA, RUS, AZE and IRI are all up top.
After Betanov, Iran's Nokhodilarim would likely be there. He was Bronze in the 2017 Cadet bracket won by Will Lewan.
The semi's would be Khadzimurad Gadzhiev, a four-time age level World Medalist and the JR World Champ last year. He was also Bronze at this year's SR Euros.
I had a jr high coach that used to say
“you’ve got to beat the man to be the man “
Here’s to David proving “ he’s the man”
yes there is! thanks
American Tagg at 64 kg had an impressive tech in the match prior to Carr
Carr getting warned and is on the clock and gets his takedown - up 2-0
Carr up 2-0 at the break. This ref seems to have a hard on for Carr, both guys seem to be doing the same amount of action.
Carr with a pretty single leg - up 4-0
1:49 left and both get warned for head slapping. Carr up 4-0
Carr wins 4-0. Russian was trying to attack but Carr defended well and almost had a couple of takedowns.
Quarterfinals: David Aaron CARR (USA) vs. Mohammad Ashghar NOKHODILARIMI (IRI)

Thanks. Keep us posted.
Carr gives up early takedown, then gets his own and gets a leg lace and can't get the last roll. Carr is up 10-2 with 3:41 to go
