After reading the thread a few days ago about an ISU Firefox theme I gave it a go and came up with one. I have never made a theme for Firefox before, so it's pretty rough at the moment...but if anyone wants to check it out and give feedback that'd be awesome (I'm not sure it'll show up the same on every computer).

Here's a screenshot of what it should look like:
attachment.php

Here's the file to install the theme:
http://www.cyclonefanatic.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=1173&stc=1&d=1200293915

Instructions to install:

1. Changes the file extension to .jar instead of .zip (I wasn't able to upload a jar file to cyclonefanatic).
2. Under the Tools menu in Firefox select Add-ons.
3. Drag the cyclones.jar file into the Add-ons window. Click install and after the file has installed, go back to the themes menu and enable the theme.
4. Restart Firefox.

Let me know if any of this doesn't work for you, as well as if something doesn't show up right on the theme or if you have any suggestions to make it better. Again, this is my first time and it's pretty rough.

The theme is very cool. It is a little busy, but still very cool. Simple is sometimes better. Maybe simplify it down by getting rid of the lightning and the football players. That may be too plain for some, but a logo and matching colors is really all you need for a nice simple look.

Really cool!:notworthy: Just a few suggestions:

1. Change tabs and tab bar colors (suggested already)
2. Make the "Home" button a little picture of JTS or Hilton
3. Make the "Refresh" button a cyclone/tornado
4. Make the "Stop" button an ISU helmet or maybe a basketball.
4. Although the new logo in the toolbar is cool, it takes up too much space. Can you put that in the background? Or make it smaller?

These are just suggestions. I'll be using it whether you make any changes or not:yes:

Maybe have two versions. One that's a little less "busy".

I'd say may the "Stop" button an "X"ed out Hawkeye logo or helmet. It'd also be cool if the home button were a "cartoonized" version of either JTS or HC. Just sayin'

I thought about that too but I don't want anything hawk related on my screen, x'd out or not:no:

Yeah, but I guess I'm also of the opinion I don't want the stop button to be directly Cyclone related, as it seems a little anti-Cyclone to me. Better anti-Hawk than anti-Cyclone...

What the benefits of using firefox over explorer

One of the reasons I initially switched to Firefox was for the tabbed browsing. But, since IE7 has that now it's not an issue. I still use Firefox though because there's a lot of handy Add-ons for software developers.

Outstanding work! I've been waiting for someone to do this for quite awhile. I've had the Bears one loaded for some time and really like that one too. I would agree with most of the suggestions already noted and would also recommend adding it to the Firefox Add-on site so the rest of the world can see it too. They have around 34 sports themes available.

Nice job! I agree with some of the previous comments about it being a little busy, but for a first effort, way to be! I will certainly be using it from now on.

I started using Firefox because of the tabs as well, and although IE has them now, I just like all the customization Firefox allows (especially the Reload Every function)
