Cyclone Power Chant

I really love the Cyclone Power chant, but think it could be better if we got the sideline fans in on it as well. I saw Cy trying to split Hilton diagonally last night and have the south and west sides say Cyclone! and then the north and east sides say Power!, but the sides didn't join in at all and it was mostly just students. I was thinking for next year to go around Hilton from west (starting from the band) to south to east to north and so on instead of just from end to end. Maybe even incorporate the wave with the chant or something? although I think the chant is too quick to get along a whole sideline during Power

Any other ideas to get the sides involved with it? I just love the chant and hate to see people watching the students and not joining in!!

I agree. It was loud last night but if we could get the sidelines involved it would be awesome.

The band starts that chant at weird times.... when it's done by CA it's better. But I agree, it would have been better if the sides got involved.

I've always wondered why the chant was only done by the students. It's done by everyone at football games. Its really not that hard to see which side you are on and join in.

I actually don't think that splitting cyclone and power would be horrible. But what does everybody think about having both ends do cyclone and then both sides do power?

Wow it's not that hard for people in the stands. You split the sides up at the half court line. Duh.....

Any other tough problems you need solved??

Wonder if people in south endzone get that confused during football season??
